THE PROJECT OF THE SENSES

The journey that leads to explore the world of Culti is a true experience for the senses. It could in fact start with the cloud of scent that envelops those who enter Culti Fashion Flower in Turin, where plants and flowers of every species evoke remote countries; in the showrooms of Milan or St. Moritz, where the air is filled with delicate fragrances of citrus and tuberose; in the Habits Culti Spa in Milan, where skilled hands give moments of extreme relaxation, or in the rarefied atmosphere of the Relais La Sommità in Ostuni, and more: Culti Spacafè in Naples, Crème Cafetheria in Montorfano and Cafèpermare in Sanremo, where every detail indicates a precise philosophy of life - that of Alessandro Agrati, founder and patron of Culti, who started this adventure in 1990.

The creation of Culti represents Alessandro’s decision to realise a dream: the creation of something new and revolutionary in the area of life style, a concept that includes interior decoration, fragrances, clothing and anything related to the house and the person. In other words, he starts to conceive the products and the space where they will be located, the content and its container, no longer as distinguished categories but as one total look.

Even the logo that Alessandro chose for his company recalls the concept of “environment culture”, intended solely as the inquiry of the living-concept in all its aspects. Culti becomes therefore the “house” of his ideas, and since the beginning it is aimed at discovering the five senses. Thus the creation of furniture, fabrics and objects that develop the tactile emotion; fragrances that stimulate the sense of smell and hearing, lights and flavours that woo the sight and taste.

The project of the senses, as Alessandro Agrati loves to call it, is by definition, boundless, it expands and explores every area, expressing the creativity of its creator but also giving prominence to the personality of those who will enjoy its results.

One of the basic principles on which the philosophy of Culti is based, is to focus on the daily rituals and habits of the clientele and in the meantime to adopt such a distinctive design as the one conceived by Alessandro. With over six thousand products in its catalogue, the maison can in fact satisfy every sort of need related to daily living.

Those who appreciate such a style, know they can gradually approach the world of Culti: simply buying a bag, a perfume, a set of cutlery, a tablecloth, a sofa or a bed; having the kitchen or the bathroom customised, personalising every detail; or entering a space that is permeated by an essential yet exclusive atmosphere. The achievement of well-being, physical and emotional, has always been a priority in Alessandro Agrati’s decisions. The hedonistic and aesthetic aspect of his products is never an end in itself, but always a means to make the consumer feel better and at ease.

Culti Today

Today the world of Culti is present in different areas, all coordinated by the same life style. It offers numerous collections: home and person, furniture, lighting systems, objects and textiles for every room (bathroom, kitchen, living room, bedroom and office), outdoor furniture (balcony and garden), as well as clothing and fashion accessories. Recently the brand has also extended to public spaces, including spa’s, cafés, relais and restaurants, all personalized with Culti’s look and focused on the guests.

The opening of more than ten showrooms, restaurants, cafes, a relais and three spa in fourteen years demonstrate the dynamism of a company who can rely on four production centers, concentrated in the hinterland of Milan, and on numerous suppliers for objects, fragrances and furniture. If for example we followed the procedure that leads to the production of a bottle of Culti perfume, we would meet a dozen phases, and as many suppliers. This is a sign of extreme attention to detail, that together with the consistency of style is today one of Culti’s distinctive marks.
